The wealth of cancer information on the web can make it difficult to know where to begin. This course introduces participants to free, authoritative cancer information resources and provides opportunities for guided practice when looking for information in this specialty area.


Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of the class, participants will be able to:

  • Explore cancer terminology and barriers/challenges to accessing cancer information
  • Compare consumer-oriented content available through online cancer information resources
  • Locate content relevant to cancer and related topics
