Teaching Topics is a one hour, live webinar that covers topics relevant to teaching. Attendees will explore a variety of topics to enhance their teaching skills. Members of the National Network of Libraries of Medicine Training Office (NTO), along with guest presenters, will discuss techniques, tips and tools for teaching. Topics may include student engagement, instructional design, adult learning, distance and online learning tools, assessment, video tutorials and others areas relevant to those who teach. Hands-on opportunities are offered.

Learning Objectives
Attendees will explore a variety of topics to enhance their teaching skills.  Topics may include student engagement, instructional design, adult learning, distance and online learning tools, assessment, and others areas relevant to those who teach.


Agenda 

Each session will be 60 minutes. The agenda will vary based on the topic for each session. All sessions will include demonstrations and an opportunity for hands-on work to reinforce the acquisition of new skills.

This is an online class. Technical requirements include: Internet connection and the ability to use WebEx.
