Visualizing the Value of Researcher and Institution Publications*

For more information or to schedule this course, please contact Julia M. Esparza, AHIP, FMLA, at julia.esparza@lsuhs.edu .

First, attendees will hear about the background of iCite and how it works. They will also learn about the Relative Citation Ratio used to show impact factor. Next, they will use an author name or institutional grant citations (they can bring what to search or search data will be given to them) to determine the value of the author citations or the value of the grant citations for the institution. Attendees will examine the results through the Influence, Translation and Citations that are attached to the publications. Finally, the attendees will download reports that can return to their institution to show the value of using iCite instead of pay services.
