CLEBP & Research Caucus' Abstract Writing Workshop*

For more information or to schedule this course, please contact Lindsay Blake, MLIS, AHIP at leblake@uams.edu .

In this 30-minute presentation followed by 30-minute workshop, attendees will assess the purpose of an abstract and distinguish research study components from program descriptions. We will discuss MLA submission guidelines and MLA Research Award criteria. Workshop breakout rooms will be grouped in participants with a facilitator. Participants will indicate if they are interested in working on a research or program abstract and be matched to one of those groups. Attendees will download an abstract template to get started and will be encouraged to submit to MLA or a professional conference of their choice.
